The Review: The Wheel of Time Season 3

The Wheel Of Time Season 3 (4/10)

I am back again with another review of this show that this season managed to piss off book readers as well as fans of the show. There is also that group of people that fan-fiction the hell out of characters and want to see people fuck on screen but can't the way they imagine so they draw them. I looked at my previous reviews of this series and gave season one and season two 9/10. That for fucking sure not happening this season especially considering my favorite episode focused on one main character. Gonna do this like last season and write something about each character that I feel like writing about. This season introduced way too many new ass people and subplots and managed not to really get all that much done. And again, have not touched one of the books and don't plan to. I watch Youtube videos to find answers to questions. Get over it.

Moiraine

She spent a lot of time practicing just to get her ass kicked. She won but needed help. Goes into the weird world and sees many possible futures where if she lives Rand dies and if she dies Rand lives. I'm doing all this by memory, y'all. She plans on having one of the captured Dark Ones train Rand (this didn't work last time!) but that dude gets killed. She could have filmed all her scenes in one day, honestly.

Nynaeve

Man, if I was pissed at her last season I could not stand her this one! Holy shit she was useless! I don't give a good fuck that she gets more powerful in the books. I am watching a show where this woman who has used her powers a couple times but never when needed only does some shit when she is about to drown and thinks of a life that never really happened. She also managed to give away two of the three pieces of jewelry needed to tame Rand. But at least we got to see her have fun and drink! The humor on this show makes no fucking sense. There is so much time wasted on silly goose time so when she and others do some dumb shit its not even surprising. I just think “Well, guess they will solve this new problem if the show returns.” At this point I kinda hope it doesn't.

Egwene

The fuck she do this season? I know she got mad after learning the ability to dream walk she goes to all her friends dreams like a nosy ass and ends up seeing Rand bone down with Lanfear. Rand is like “We not gonna be together anyway, so...” She was so damn strong last season that I was looking forward to her doing amazing things. Nope. Just simping for Rand and moping.

Rand

He is powerful and seems to be losing it especially after accidentally killing a little girl. He is supposed to bring some tribes together because he has proven that he is the Dragon Reborn. He gets to see his past lives and that was a good episode. I wasn't expecting all that much from him this season but wanted him to...I don't know.

Mat

No fucks given about Mat. Three seasons in and he is still a fuck up and there has been no character growth. Next.

Perrin

This dude fucking ruled. Had a whole episode to him defending Two Rivers. He showed that he could be a leader, met a new lady, saved Mat's sisters, and ended up being taken away by them White Cloaks after making a deal for their help. Sadly he didn't do anything with his wolf powers. I wanted to see some damn wolves come out of the woods during the battle to help out and didn't get any. Still, he was my favorite this season.

There was other stuff happening this season but I don't care to write about it. Maybe if the show didn't wrap up all funky I would write more about the other stuff but...meh. I got to see two more Dark Ones where one did nothing and the other got flayed by another. There's all these others that I doubt will be seen because this show feels way too confident that it will get another season and get to finish the show. This is Amazon. You can never feel that confident. After watching some videos I think that this book series was way too ambitious. Shit was way too convoluted and everyone is working against each other and no one can be trusted. It got to a point where I just thought “Y'all just need to let evil win and start over again.”
