I should give this a 1/10 because we laughed so hard at how badly this was made. I'm not even sure why we watched this. I think my lady wanted revenge for making her watch some movies she didn't like. This movie is about an unlikable woman that has a sister that says she should be dating. She meets with this guy and they have a raggedy ass date where she just gives him attitude. He likes her though. Why? Still not clear. So they go on another date where she gets mad because his phone range at the end and she made an effort to not be on hers. I'm still not sure what jobs either of them have but I guess they are successful at it. By the next time they meet he plans on proposing to her and his brother hates this and says that he did this last year and ruined Christmas for their mother. Misunderstandings happen but they all make up at the end and everyone lives happily ever after in what seems like weeks after meeting.
After watching so many Christmas movies over the years with my lady I know this is a basic formula. Busy professionals find love. But that does not excuse how every aspect of this movie was done terribly. Lots of b-roll of the city. Lots of scenes with bad music as people mouth words. One scene the two sisters order meals and the older sister says that she will have the exact thing as her sister. Tell me why they got two separate bowls and meals. Zero consistency on the set. The camera in certain scenes felt like they had the actors just turn it on and act out a scene because it stayed in one spot and they attempted to stay still in the frame. Sound all over the place. Don't get me started on the wigs and fades changing length. Everyone talking about Eddie and Laura Winslow back! Yeah. And? Had us thinking they were at first which felt gross. They all over the ads for this (could only find three images from this movie!) but they not in the movie all that much. Not enough to be the main advertising focus. Don't waste time watching this. Its nonsense.
