Hulk
Vs. 4/10
I
watched the Hulk Vs. movie that came out years ago. I'd seen it
before but it turns out I had only seen half of it before. This is
broken down into two parts. In the first one Hulk is taken over by
Loki who uses him to go to Asgard to beat the living hell out of Thor
which he does. This is not regular ass Hulk. This is Hulk without
Bruce Banner inside to have some form of checks an balances. I don't
even remember exactly how this ended since I watched it a few weeks
ago but it just proved that Hulk needs some kind of extra characters
added because Hulk alone is rather boring.
Don't
get me wrong. I like Hulk as a character and everything but it always
gets to a point where he is either not Hulk and whimpering in a
corner and on the run or hulking out and just screaming and smashing
things. There needs to be a good balance between the two but for some
reason it is hard to master that. The next part of this movie was
Hulk fighting against Wolverine meaning Wolverine trying his best not
to be killed by Hulk.
The
cool part about the stuff with Wolverine and Hulk is when a form of
Weapon X, or Program X, or whatever the hell it is shows up with
Sabretooth and Deadpool. They got the look and tone of both of them
very right. Lady Deathstrike and Omega Red I don't really care for.
And again, you need a lot of supporting characters around Hulk for
him to shout at and hit and you need someone that can take a hit from
him and not die immediately. Its the same issue with Superman and why
people wonder why his films become punch fests and even when they
have Lex Luthor around they still add some monster for Superman to
fight. Hulk, like Thor, are great supporting characters but not good
on their own.
