The Review: How To Use Guys With Secret Tips

How To Use Guys With Secret Tips 7/10

I watched this crazy ass movie with H. and B. called How To Use Guys With Secret Tips. This is a Korean movie about this assistant director that gets stepped on in every aspect of her life. At work, catching cabs, whatever. One day while at a commercial shoot the entire damn crew leave her after she falls asleep on the beach. She wakes up and there is a crazy ass booth with this guy that wants to sell her a series of videos on how to use her womanly wiles to control men and make herself better.

She starts doing weird smiles and the shit works. She starts speaking up at the right times and during a commercial reshoot she ends up doing a great job and starts moving on up. She and this famous guy that she knew when he was just dancing all weird start getting together but things get complicated when she starts not following the tapes properly as well as when the guy finds out about her tapes and feels like shit. Then he starts acting the way a guy would act which is irrational and angry that she was doing exactly what most men do.

As she gets further and is allegedly with the new hot actor her ex boyfriend arrives with all his power in the industry and starts bossing her around. During a shoot he is controlling everything. The guy that she was into shows up and professes his love for her while dogs run around cause they horny and the set falls apart. It was intense. This was a cute movie There were parts animated and weird like something out of Monty Python. There were of course strange things I didn't get because I wasn't raised on Korean culture but it was still funny.
