DVDiculous: Raging Phoenix

Thai movies that I watch tend to have the same theme: elbows, knees, and an ending that runs right off the rails. This stars the same chick, Jija Yanin, from Chocolate which if you haven't seen you really need to. This movie is about getting drunk and kicking ass while doing lots of flips. Yanin as Deu is a drummer in a band that is far too emotional and gets kicked out the group and cheated on by her boyfriend. She gets drunk, cries to her dead father, and ends up getting kidnapped. All kinds of crazy happens until she is saved by this guy, Sanim, from a group of lunatics with pogo legs.

She wakes up and is in a warehouse with these drunk dudes named Dog Shit and Pig Shit. They fend off a gang which is surprising because before they started dancing and kicking ass they seemed like total fuck ups. After being asked they teach her how to drink and Sanim, though he doesn't want to, teaches her how to fight. Meaning doing impossible stuff.

Meyraiyuth is the name of the style they use which is a combination of drunken boxing, B-boy moves, and muy thai. Deu starts to fall for Sanim but he is trying to save his wife who was kidnapped by the same guys that tried to take Deu. This Jaguar Gang takes women who put off a certain pheromone and Deu is one of them. 

Dog Shit used to be a sniffer for the police before his wife was murdered. At one point Deu goes off to save a bunch of girls by herself and succeeds. The next day she comes back and everyone is dead. She is attacked by a ninja that whips her ass that turns out to be Bullshit. He is the one that trained everyone. She ends up fighting him again and beats him using lots of flips and knees.

They make a plan for her to be captured and tail the bad guys. They fail. She is caught and ends up being used by this group. Using tears of sorrow they make a perfume for rich people that makes people horny as hell. Turns out Sanim's lady is alive still and after a bunch of the perfume bottles are broken they are able to find the place and start kicking more ass. This drags on for another half hour longer than it needed to.

They find the main boss, this buff ass chick London played by Roongtawan Jindasing.

That is a lot of woman. 

She manages to kick their asses but they make comeback that is off screen and then even more fighting happens. There is not really a super happy ending because someone dies that you kinda assumed would live. This was a fun movie but seriously did not need to be as long as it was.
