If you feel like starting some brand new fetishes then by all means check out season two of American Horror Story: Asylum. Wow. This season was so honked up. Honestly, it took about four episodes for me to get completely on board with this season because I watched it so close to the first season, American Horror Story: Murder House, that it was hard for me to look at certain characters sympathetically. For instance, the kid Kit Walker (Evan Peters) that shot up his school in the first season is someone I am supposed to feel bad for in this season. It took a while before I could accept him as someone to feel bad for.
This season is about an asylum, Briarcliff Mental Institution, and the year is 1964. Its run by an evil ass nun named Sister Jude played by Jessica Lange. She is all about solitary, electroshock therapy, and just good old fashioned beating that ass in the name of the Lord. The patients at the place are controlled by her as well as the employees. She's not even close to someone I felt sorry for until way later in the season which caught me off guard.
This accused serial killer comes to the asylum and he is sticking with the story that his wife was killed by aliens. Since it is the early 60's and his wife was Black (and very, very light-skinned which led me to believe that one of her parents were White but that's neither here nor there) he thinks he is being attacked by some guys he know who bugged him earlier. But its aliens for sure. He is also accused of skinning and beheading all these other women. A reporter, Lana Winters played by Sarah Paulson, goes to investigate him in the asylum and her dumb ass ends up being taken in as a patient.
The
supporting cast on this include James Cromwell as Dr. Arthur Arden
who is pretty damned convincing as a former Nazi doctor who is all
about experimenting on patients. When Sister Jude asks him about
missing patients he's just like “Oh, you know how it is...” and
continues doing his messed up ass work.
He
ends up falling for this other nun Sister Mary Eunice played by Lily
Rabe. She starts off super nice until a kid that was possessed by the
devil ends up getting into her and changing her completely and
starting Dante on the path to a nun fetish which is honestly
something I don't need in my life. Her new sexy form makes Dr. Arden
feel terrible which is strange since he hires hookers on the side and
tortures them dressed as a nun.
He
continues his experiments and even works on the accused woman
skinner. He gets his hands on Chloe Sevigny who plays a woman
addicted to sex. Can this woman play a role that isn't about getting
fucked or doing weird shit on film? Not quite sure what the hell he
gives her but she ends up looking like seven levels of Hell
afterward.
Sorry, ma'am. But you have...everything. |
Zachary
Quinto is also back again as a psychiatrist named Dr. Oliver
Thredson. The entire time I kept thinking that there was something
off about this guy. He ends up being this serial killer named Bloody
Face that skins women. Aah! He is the real killer! Aah!
He makes Kit take the fall for the murders while continuing to fill a hole in his life by not having a mother to take care of him. So he gets the reporter pregnant and reveals that he has also killed her lover played by Clea Duvall. For those of you that don't know, I have a thing for this woman. Have for years. I even managed to meet her in person and let her cut in line at the bar years ago and didn't even sexually harass her.

There
is a lot more to this crazy ass season. I know a few people gave up
after an episode or two because it is very different than the first
season but if you power through those first few episodes that aren't
all that good the payoff is worth it. But remember, since this is in
an asylum there are needles and folks getting tortured. I have to
point out the 180 one of the characters pulls. Pepper is a pinhead
(there's an actual medical name for it but ain't nobody got time for
that) that is pretty annoying for the most part. She is me after too
many candy bars times...nothing. I'm pretty annoying when I am full
of sugar.
I felt so bad for this woman because as far as I know there aren't that many people with this affliction. It was cool that one of them could find work. Then I looked up the name of the actress that played her. Its Naomi Grossman. And this is what she really looks like.
Whaaaaaaaaaa...?! |
Yeah.
That happened! So yeah. Check out season two. I have already begun
watching American Horror Story: Coven and all the penis related
goodwill that season two created has been irreparably destroyed by
watching all kinds of sex that I never wanna see. Never.
