Well...shit. This was an incredible episode that broke my lady and thousands of others online. First it starts off with Bob Gray aka Pennywise the Clown minus the evil alien monster inside of him. Just a single father performing a live show for the children. The kids rush the stage after he is done. His daughter, who we know as Ingrid , says the kids loved the show which they did. Ingrid shows up in a clown costume of her own to surprise her father. He names her Periwinkle which is turns out was her mothers name. Also, later looking at the image from his sad show I noticed that the paintings on the wall were of his late wife. Later that night while smoking and drinking this kid emerges from the woods like “Kids like you.” Then there is a scream and the kid says its his mother. Bob Gray and the kid head into the woods. Later while looking for her father the carnival people hand Ingrid his bloody handkerchief that was found in the woods.
At the end of the last episode a bunch of angry white men showed up at the Black Spot to find Ronnie's dad, Hank. They say they are just looking for Hank and will leave them all alone...as they are armed with guns. Dick says that Hank is not there and this is just a place to hang out. The men raise their guns and so do the others who are soldiers (with government issued guns). Hank's dumb ass comes out like “Here I am! I'll go with you!” Dude, stay the fuck in the room! The others say that Hank is not leaving with them. The white dudes all leave. Next thing you know they chain the doors shut and start lobbing Molotov cocktails in and shooting.
This shit is brutal. You see people burning. People getting their faces blown off. There is no way to escape. This one woman crying sees Pennywise who offers his hand to her. Ronnie then sees Pennywise eating this lady's face off! Everyone is straight up just dying. It was hard to watch but from reading Wiki stuff I had heard about this happening but its different seeing it.
Dick is seeing dead people from different time periods and freaking the fuck out as he should. He spots a Native lady wearing a bear as he is about to escape into a hole under the fridge. He does what he told Leroy that you should never do: speak to the dead. He gets the bear lady's attention and asks her to help him find the kids. He gets Ronnie, Hank, and Will to escape. Pennywise spots him and is like “Oh, hey, Dick! I brought some company for you!” All these dead people start walking up on Dick. This man's mind is wrecked!
Now for the saddest shit. Marge and Rich are left behind and Rich spots a small cooler. Marge says that they can't bother fit into it. Rich gets her inside and lays himself on top of it explaining to her that knights don't just pee in pots they also protect fair maidens. He in in this place on fire filling with smoke telling Marge about the first time he saw her at school and fell in love. Marge is sobbing inside the cooler. She tells Rich that she loves him. He says he loves her as well. I know in my reviews I haven't talked much about these two. Marge was terrible and I ended up liking her. Rich has always been cool as hell and he was the one kid I wanted to make it. This was a terribly sad death.
Meanwhile outside the assholes are all leaving after killing dozens of people. One of the cars won't start up and its Stan Kersh's. He is the meat man aka Ingrid's husband aka the husband whose wife Hank was fucking. He turns and Ingrid comes out of the woods wearing a full clown costume. Stand tells Ingrid to take that shit off and go home before he beats her. She is like “Hi, papa” and Stan is like “What?!” He turns around and there is Pennywise with a giant blade. He cuts Stan's head in half and starts munching on it. Ingrid is like “I knew that this would cause enough fear and terror to get you to arrive.” Yeah. She is the one that snitched on where Hank was that brought all this death and horror.
Pennywise is listening and just eating Stan's head like a piece of meat and listening to her delusional ass who still thinks this is her dad. Pennywise tells her to come to papa. They hug and he is like “I can't eat this not scared bitch.” He tells her to bow just as the real Pennywise did when she was a child. Pennywise is like “I go sleep now” and Ingrid gets mad. He says he will return. She gets mad. He starts looking at her with blood all over his face and drooling like crazy and finally she is like “You're not him.” Who are you?” Really, bitch! Now you don't think its your daddy! Not with his glowing yellow eyes?! Not when he snacking on your dead husbands head like a honey baked ham?! Pennywise sees the fear in her face and is like “Got her” and deadlights her dumb ass.
Later that morning they are bringing bodies out of the Black Spot. Marge, Will, and Ronnie go to Rich's body and hug him. Its fucking sad all over again! Ingrid is taken away in her clown costume on a gurney. Charlotte arrives and the kids take her to Hank whose punk ass survived of course. Charlotte has a plan to sneak him away. The news think he is dead and says the Black Spot was an illegal speakeasy so all is well in Derry! Leroy shows up and is not good at consoling his family. Leroy says it is not their job to find the people that started the fire and Charlotte looks at him like he a piece of shit. Leroy says that the terror is now over. He finds Dick and Dick says he can not make the voices stop. He is now surrounded by old dead and the recently dead who are all talking to him at once and want vengeance and help. The shit is creepy.
Charlotte takes Hank to Rose's place so that she can take him across the border to Canada. Yeah, Derry thinks he is dead but he would need papers to get across the border. Hank is disguised in Leroy's uniform. They left Will alone at home as they did this which seems crazy fucked up considering what he just went through. Oh, I forgot. Marge and Ronnie went to tell Lilly what happened and that Rich is dead.
Rose meets with her tribe and they are like “Whelp. The cycle is over. We good for another 27 years. Bye!” Dick helps find another pillar and the military pack it up and bounce. Leroy is like “Uh, shouldn't we bring this closer to town to protect people?” Military like “Chill. Go rest. Good job.” They are gonna melt the pillar. Leroy follows and whips a gun out and stops them from melting it. Shaw stops him and explains that he plans to release Pennywise to use it to bring the country together by using the power of fear. This man is fucking dumb but as I explained to my lady this is exactly how weapons were made back in the day. Shaw says that a lot of people, including kids, will die but not as many as die in car accidents. Leroy leaves and Shaw says to make sure that Leroy does not leave the base. Fuck. They end up melting the pillar and Pennywise who is napping in blood and body parts wakes as soon as the pillar melts.
Back at home Will is home alone after surviving his friend dying and almost being burned to death. The house phone rings and its Ronnie. She says she can't stop thinking about Rich and how he suffocated and his lungs must have burst like popcorn. Will is listening like “The hell...” Ronnie's voice starts combining with Pennywise. Will turns around and fucking Pennywise is standing on top of the fridge and deadlights him. I am so glad that this was not an hour and forty five minutes like we expected because this shit wore me out and we ended up talking about it for over an hour. Amazing show but damn.
