Ooh, this one was a crazy one! Shaw finally tells Leroy what he plans on doing with the different pieces from where It landed that the Native Americans used to entrap him in the woods. He sends Leroy and a team to go into the sewers from that creepy ass house to go and do...something. Like I have said, this is a terrible plan. Meanwhile the natives are having a meeting talking about “Yep. Its about that time where this town loses its fucking mind.” Rose lets Shaw know this is a bad idea but this man is locked in on using Pennywise or whatever as a weapon of fear. Rose also gives her nephew a piece of the meteor as a weapon to use against Pennywise.
Leroy's wife Charlotte meets up with Ronnie's father who is this close to being sent to Shawshank. He admits that he was sleeping with a married white woman so even if he comes out and says what he was actually doing instead of murdering those kids in a movie theater he is still gonna be killed either in prison or before he makes it there. Turns out he fucking the meat man's wife, that weird nurse lady that Lilly meets with named Ingrid. The people are gathering as he is being led to the bus and one fires a gun. Another creepy looking mofo is tapping his baton with Pennywise teeth as Charlotte watches and then he vanishes. The bus ends up crashing during transport and he escapes. He meets up with Ingrid who then finds Charlotte with a plan on where to hide Ronnie's dad.
The kids are meeting in their little hang out spot when Marge shows up. She got a bandage over here eye. They have a plan to use some of Lilly's mothers pills to relax so they are not afraid when Pennywise shows up. They head into the same sewers that the soldiers are all up in. Matty is there and has long hair and says he would rather go back into the sewers than to his own father. But then he changes his mind and doesn't wanna go even though he says some of the kids are still alive. They head down and the kids are super not alive. They are floating in the water dead as hell and Matty starts spinning on a pole singing like a creep until he turns into Pennywise. Them calm pills didn't do shit! The kids start running.
Meanwhile the army folks are being picked off one by one. Rose's nephew loses the weapon almost immediately. Leroy sees his wife show up while his friend Pauly doesn't see anything. Leroy ends up shooting her in the head before she laughs and skitters away. Leroy says not to trust anything they see. Next thing you know he sees his son, who by all accounts shouldn't be real or in the sewers, and just when he is about to shoot him thinking its Pennywise or something Pauly jumps in front of the gun and takes a bullet. Leroy just shot his best friend dead. Lilly got separated from the group and is cornered by Pennywise who makes fun of her for bringing all her friends right to him. He even turns into her pickle daddy for good measure. Lilly found the weapon Rose's nephew had dropped and when Pennywise sees his he backs the fuck up and leaves her alone.
While all this is happening poor Hallorann (who I will now just call Dick because spelling his name is nuts) who was yanked down into the water by Pennywise is going through his own personal hell. He climbs out of a small bathtub and his grandmother is there. His grandfather (who I read about online and what he did to Dick as a child and is awful in every way) shows up with Dick's box that he puts all his Shining shit in. He wants Dick to open it but he refuses to. His grandfather ends up cracking it open which is terrible for Dick. He stumbles out of the sewers long after everyone else is gone and looks to the right and sees Pauly's dead ass walking. He turns as if he didn't see Pauly and shuffles away shook.
All the kids meet back at the hang out spot and Lilly is like “I'm gonna go back and kill the creature because I have this secret weapon!” She won't let anyone touch it or anything and is acting all crazy. Ronnie is not having any of her shit and calls her crazy and then leaves. Will chases down Ronnie and they share a hug. Back at school Marge finally stands up to the Pattycakes and flashes her damaged eye at them making one of them almost choke on her gum. Her and Rich are becoming a thing and I like it.
Ronnie's father, Hank, is hiding out at the small base that the Black soldiers can relax at. This is dumb. Its called the Black Spot. Dick does not like this whatsoever. Later Leroy asks where Dick was all that time in the sewers. Dick explains how his powers work and that he can see the dead (insert dead ass man standing behind Leroy) but tries his best to ignore them because if they know you can see them they won't leave you alone. He also makes sure not to talk to them. Leroy wants to know more and keeps prodding and Dick is like “Are you listening to anything I am saying?!” Dick just wants to lay down and get drunk as hell for as long as possible.
Back at the club all the Black people are having fun. Ronnie is reunited with her father. Will meets and promises to protect Ronnie. Rich and Marge get drunk. Rich plays the drums. Everyone is having fun...except the white dudes with weapons at the bar looking for Hank. They head on over to the Black Spot with guns, bats, and masks ready to cause some generational trauma. Fuck.
