Bloodfight 3/10
This
is how IMDB describes Lady Bloodfight. “A blond American woman arrives
in Asia. On arrival she is beaten up by thugs. She asks a fighter
girl to train her - but really, she wants to take part in a
tournament. Plenty of girls, of all races, fighting action.” By the
way, Black chick? Taken out with one kick. She literally has the
shortest fight in this movie. Just saying. Full disclosure, I watched
this because I thought it was starring the Pink Ranger Amy Jo Johnson. I was wrong. It's Amy Johnston. She's still hot though so it
was cool. She ends up heading to fight in a deadly tournament after
getting fired after beating a customer up and then doing it again
after he attacks her with his friends.
This
tournament is set up by these guys that just find random ass women
beating folks ass all around the world. It's super weird but I have no problem watching hot women in yoga pants fight. They hand
them an envelope and these ladies show up. She gets there and
immediately is robbed and gets beat up and found by this fight
teacher who has ha four years to find a student to fight for her.
Everybody is like “You White. You can't fight. Go home.” She
doesn't and ends up in the tournament and reveals that her dad died
in the same one years ago. I'm like, the fuck? Anyway, she makes it
to the end because she is the hero of this story and won't kill crazy
ass women even though some of these women really should be removed
from society.
This
movie made me laugh which bumped my rating up. I could tell that
there was a good movie in here if the directing was better, the
writing, and the fights. So pretty much if everything was better this
would be a better movie. The slow motion during fights just confused
the hell out of me and the quick cuts. Just let them fight. They
obviously are professionals and the way they were shown just did a
disservice to all these women.
