The Review: Final Girl

Final Girl 2/10

I randomly watched this movie Final Girl on Amazon tonight. It wasn't good. Well, it started off good. I was intrigued with where it could go but was thankful that the description on Amazon gave away a lot of the plot otherwise I would have given this an even lower score. This little girl in interviewed by this dude after her parents died. He has her solve a puzzle and asks her about death. He likes her answers. He brings her in to his...company? Operation? I don't know. His wife was killed. He angry. He trains her to be a ruthless killer. She tries to get freaky with him. He shuts that shit down. I was happy about that. He assigns her to kill these dudes that hunt girls for fun.

They play truth or dare with her and the four guys. She drugged their booze so they hallucinated the whole time before dying. The final dude was harder to kill and beat the shit out of her. He also did not drink. She ends up hanging him. This movie has a good movie somewhere in it. I don't know why dude trained her for years and years to kill these particular guys. Maybe they were connected to killing his wife because it sounds like their dads were involved in this too. The guys were creeps. One made out with his mom. When this ended I just said “Well...okay.” And whoever did that poster needs to stop.
