The Review: Unstoppable

Unstoppable 8/10

This movie should not have been as good as it was. Very basic story of a runaway train and two men trying to stop it. Tony Scott directed it and that man had the ability to make brushing your teeth look action packed. An idiot accidentally sets a train loose on the world and it is full of chemicals that will just ruin a lot of lives and a dude about to retire soon and a new guy that seems over it on his first damn day. Of course later you find out more about each guy while on a collision course that becomes a train chase. This movie had the back of my knees sweating with tension.

So far Denzel has made movies that make me not wanna ride in a plane, subway, and now a damn train. Someone needs to stop this man. The acting in this was cool and the action was intense even when it didn't need to be. I watched this on HBO so you should check it out. I'm not even sure how I missed this back when it came out considering it has some actors I enjoy and the director and the crazy ass plot.

Denzel Washington as Frank Barnes

Chris Pine as Will Colson

Rosario Dawson as Connie Hooper

Ethan Suplee as Dewey

Kevin Chapman as Bunny

Lew Temple as Ned Oldham

T. J. Miller as Gilleece
