The Review: Twisted

Twisted 7/10

This movie was so damn weird. This cop Jessica Shepard caught this serial killer named Cutler and gets promoted. Her foster father John took her in as a child after her cop father snapped and killed her mother, her mothers lovers, and himself. She got a drinking problem and will sleep with anyone she finds in a bar. Like even the skeeviest looking dudes! Some guy Jessica slept with recently ends up found dead in the water and lets the other cops know she slept with him. They like “Weird” and lets her stay on the case. Days later another dude she slept with ends up found dead and they like “The fuck going on, woman?!” Still, she is allowed to stay on the case. They pretty much using her as bait.

The Review: Fighter In The Wind

Fighter In The Wind 4/10

I was watching a fight reaction video and a clip from this movie Fighter In The Wind was shown so I checked if I could watch it and it was on Amazon. This is about this boxer who runs away from Korea to Japan to fight in the war but then the war ends and he is kinda fucked. The Japanese don't want him there, the Yakuza don't want him there, and soldiers wanna kick his ass. One day he gets shamed in front of a crowd and pisses himself. He also has a weird ass guy that becomes his friend for comic relief. He ends up in a camp about to be executed and tries to fight for freedom and gets his ass kicked. He vows to become a great fighter.

The Review: Sleepover

Sleepover 6/10

Today I watched this movie called Sleepover with B&H in their successful mission to make me watch anything featuring Evan Peters. They made no mention of him being in this movie until he was sprung on me and I lost my mind. He is a kid that loves showing people a photo of him in a coma. But this is not about him. This is about a group of young girls getting away with vandalism, grand theft auto, and staying out past curfew. It is the last day of the 8th grade and Julie wants to have a sleepover. She invites three girls but one can't make it because fuck these nerds. She has a dance to go to. Julie invites this other girl like an afterthought. Julie's mom leaves her with her dad who spends the entire night installing a water filter while her brother who dropped out of college begs her for money. During the night the popular girl Staci who did not wanna come to the sleepover climbs into Julie's house after her boyfriend thinks that skipping the dance she is dressed for is not as fun as driving onto a lawn to suck face.
