Neo Nerd Rage: Robocop Reboot

"In 2028, multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy is a loving husband, father and honest cop doing his best to fight crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured by a car bomb outside his home, OmniCorp utilize their knowledge in robotics to save Murphy's life. Murphy returns to the streets of his city with new abilities and issues a regular man has never had to face before."

Everyone that doubted the new Robocop movie can suck a fat one! The trailer alone is better than each of the three movies. Yes, there were three. Have you seen them? No. You think you have but you totally didn't. The first one was cool...in theory. Rewatch that movie and tell me it is great. Its okay. The idea of Robocop is awesome. Dude gets slaughtered and is brought back as a half robot that looks far more terrifying when his helmet is removed.

Neo-Nerd Rage: Robocop

Oh, they done pissed off the nerds! New images of the upcoming Robocop costume have been released and folks are upset with the new look to which I say, shut it. The new costume looks bad ass. And I’m sure that most of the people bitching didn’t even grow up with Robocop. It was something your dad watched. I grew up watching the films and the cartoon. Oh, you didn’t know there was a cartoon? Get out of my face with your nonsense.

When I saw the new look the first thing I said was “That looks pretty badass!” Some are saying it looks like Batman and I will assume they are the same kind of people that think all Black people look alike. Most of these complaints are from who I will refer to as Neo-Nerds. These are the ones that go berserk when they hear about a new Wonder Woman series but only watched the original on TV Land. Complain about Chris Pine as Captain Kirk but were born 30 years after the original show aired. Wearing their Ramones shirts because of how they looked and not acknowledging that they were a terrible band.

"Can I Finish?!": The Munsters Remakes

Back when I was little there was no such thing as an old show. I watched The Munsters on KTLA like it was a brand new show every weekend. The characters were funny and I loved the way they looked. There was a movie which I wasn’t a fan of because in color they looked very bizarre. Herman Munster wasn’t just green, he was Electric Bugaloo! The Drag-u-la car was so cool it inspired a song by Rob Zombie. I say till this day that The Munsters is still relevant and one of the best ones ever created. There is no way that it could ever be reproduced. With 70 episodes and a year and a half run, almost 50 years later its still aired. No one would be stupid enough to mess with it.
