This
is not a race issue. It's a garbage ass series issue. It is being
reported that both Iron Fist and Luke Cage have been canceled from
Netflix and I am totally fine with that. Hell, they can toss in
Jessica Jones in there if they want and I wouldn't mind. I thoroughly
enjoyed the first season of Luke Cage and was very excited when I
heard a second was being made...until I watched it. That second
season was nothing like the first. The acting dropped. The music felt
forced. It ended in such a way that it felt as if they did not even
want a third season to happen. Hell, with the way he was acting The Defenders was pretty much dead in the water. There are some things
you can not come back from even as a hero.

You
can't play a Punisher trailer after the wet turd that was The
Defenders and expect me to be excited. I just finished forcing
myself, yes forcing myself, to finish this first and hopefully last
season of The Defenders on Netflix. I don't even know where to start
because I have a whole bag of bitching and my gloves are too big to
pull them out. Let me start off with what I did like about the show
though first. The stuff with Luke Cage was cool. Pre-Defenders stuff.
The music was good, the action, the stories. It felt like I was
watching a second season of his show which made me happy 'cause I
loved the first one so much I proposed to it but it rejected me
because I don't have stable employment. Cage, Claire, and Misty
Knight are good. But then they decided to go with this wack ass
screen wipe to show they were gonna head to another character. Like
goddamn Iron Fist.

There
will be spoilers. Man, they really managed to bone this series. Over
the last two and a half days I watched the new Netflix series Iron
Fist. This show was not as bad as some of the reviews I read
afterward because there were people ready to hate this show no matter
what. I was not a fan of any of the characters that Netflix has been
making shows based off of but have watched them all and besides half
the second season of Daredevil I have enjoyed them. Jessica Jones was
good. Luke Cage was amazing. The first season of Daredevil was good.
So I gave this show the same chance because I am not looking to be
not entertained. What made me give this a 4 out of 10 instead of less
were the characters from the shows I just mentioned showing up.
