The Review: Daredevil Born Again

Daredevil Born Again 3/10

I have covered all the Daredevil seasons. Enjoyed season one a lot. Season two was good except anytime Elektra was on screen or ninjas. Third season made up for it. This new Disney+ version was a jambalaya of nonsense. They tricked me into having hope by making the first episode so good. They had Bullseye kill Foggy as Karen watched him bleed to death as Daredevil fought Bullseye on a rooftop. As he heard Foggy's heart stop he was like “Fuck it” and tossed Bullseye off the roof. He doesn't die though which is remarkable. This wasn't some two story building. He got tossed and landed chest first. He should at least be crippled. Nah. He alive. Goes to jail. Daredevil retires. By the way everything that I just wrote happened in the first episode.

The Review: Elemental

Elemental 9/10

This was a cute ass movie. L. wanted to check this out but I have struggled for over a decade to really get into any of this Pixar movies or any animated one really. Thankfully this one proved to be very entertaining with a story that was easy to follow and had parts that made me laugh. This is about a fire girl named Ember Lumen. She works at her family's store selling hot things to hot folks. The community is made of fire people and the area is rather run down and full of people who have immigrated from their place. This city is not made for fire people and the threat of being extinguished is everywhere. Ember has a problem controlling her anger and explodes. One day is causes a leak in pipes and as she is trying to fix them a city worker made of water named Wade pops through and starts noticing all of the code violations in the place. She chases him down but he ends up turning in the paperwork.

The Review: The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian 10/10

This was fucking amazing and this will be full of spoilers. As many people may or may not know I did not grow up a fan of Star Wars. I watched Episodes 1-6 in actual order. I have seen some of these new films but even managed to not watch those properly. But I do like Star Wars designs. I watch videos talking about lore form the books, animated shows, and video games so much that when I saw certain things on The Mandalorian I knew what it was. I started watching this after a few episodes had already aired and asked my friend Kish if I should check this out even though I am not a fan of SW and he made a point in only the way he can because he knows how to use words better than me an' shit. So I started watching the first episode and was immediately hooked.

TV Slut: Kick Buttowski Suburban Daredevil

For some reason the only new cartoons I seem to like are completely insane. First Throwback introduced me to Phineas and Ferb and for weeks he’s been asking me if I watched Kick Buttowski Suburban Daredevil yet. I hadn’t. Why? I got like 1,200 blogs and a new TV. I was occupied. And half lazy. So today I finally sat my ass down and watched about five episodes and I have to admit that this is one of the most silly, crazy, fun cartoons I have seen in a long time. It centers around Clarence "Kick" Buttowski and the crazy stunts and life he leads. With the movies that Disney keeps putting out you’d think they would focus on making a really good animated film based off these latest cartoons. Or maybe they have like years ago and I have no idea what the blue hell I’m talking about.
