Spoiler Alert: American Horror Story Freak Show "Monsters Among Us" Episode

I knew as soon as I found out that this new season of American Horror Story: Freak Show was gonna involve the circus that it would be honked up. Oh, they did not disappoint. The show starts off with the world's bravest milkman finding a dead body of an old lady and investigating. Investigating! He heads upstairs and starts screaming at something, or someone, he finds upstairs. Then we get the creepy ass new theme song.

In a hospital a patient is being kept secret. Elsa Mars play be Jessica Lange shows up and mesmerizes one of the nurses and heads into the room. She finds conjoined twins played by Sarah Paulson named Bette and Dot Tattler. Let me add that I love how this show uses the same characters but has them play different people so you can watch any season and not be left out. Elsa knows that the twins are hiding something. They can speak to each other telepathically and one is mean and the other too sweet. Or so it seems.

Elsa convinces the twins to come with her to the circus where we meet the rest of the fucked up crew. Evan Peters plays Jimmy Darling who has lobster hands. He spends his spare time doing things with his hands that made me “Ew!” so loud I'm sure I woke someone up. His mother Ethel played by Kathy Bates is the bearded lady. There's a few people with no limbs, too small limbs, pinheads, and the legit smallest woman in the world that you want to own.

Meanwhile there's a fucking psycho killer clown on the loose! His name is Twisty and as soon as I saw him I knew folks was about to get murdered. This guy shows up when a couple are having a picnic which means someone is gonna get destroyed. That's the picnic rule. He beats the guy to death with bowling pins and kidnaps the girl, looking her in a cage with some little boy. Fuck this guy.

What's really cool is that there are about a dozen more people that haven't even shown up yet! I have a feeling that this might be one of the best seasons if it continues to get weirder as it goes on. I have a feeling it will since we haven't even met the three-breasted woman yet played by Angela Bassett. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this show. They always have a great cast and manage to add even more each time.
